MP Employees Selection Board has reopened online applications for the Group-3 Combined Recruitment Test 2026 (II) for Sub Engineer, Draftsman, Laboratory Technician and equivalent posts, after the Tribal Affairs and Water Resources departments revised vacancies and reservation. About 1,715 posts across 132 post codes are on offer, including 379 Sub Engineer (Civil) posts in the Water Resources Department. The original window was 29.08.2026 to 12.09.2026; the new window is 13.10.2026 to 27.10.2026, with corrections until 28.10.2026. The exam is now expected to start on 20.01.2027. Candidates need the post-wise diploma/degree and must be 18–40 years old as on 01.01.2026 (45 for MP-domicile SC/ST/OBC, women, government employees and PwD). The fee is Rs. 500 per paper for unreserved candidates and Rs. 250 for MP-domicile SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates; backlog direct-recruitment posts carry no fee.
