आयु सीमा

18–40 years on 1 July 2026 for most posts (PWD and university JE posts, Rajkiya Nirman Nigam JE, UPSRTC Electrician). 21–40 years on 1 July 2026 for Technical Assistant (Electrical), Research Assistant and UP State Construction & Infrastructure Development Corporation JE. Electrical Safety Directorate JE: 18–40 years reckoned on 1 January 2027, with the upper limit 5 years higher for SC/ST and dependants of freedom fighters. Elsewhere the upper age limit is relaxed for SC/ST and other categories notified by the UP Government; existing employees of UPSRTC and Rajkiya Nirman Nigam get 5 extra years for posts in their own corporation.
